Kindred television adaptation
I heard last year that FX was going to adapt Octavia Butler’s novel Kindred for television — we’ll be reading the comic adaptation later this semester — but I somehow missed that the first season came out in December on Hulu. I don’t know if it is any good and I probably won’t have time to watch the series until after this semester is over. If any of you wants to watch it, I’d be really interested in hearing about how it compared to the comic when we read it. I’ll offer extra credit if you write a post on your site analyzing one or more of the episodes and comparing it to the comics version.
